Welcome to our card community!

We are a group of volunteers dedicated to sending handwritten snail mail to anyone needing a little extra support, a smile, or a "just because" reminder that someone cares. This group was born out of love and gratitude. In 2022, while my brother was fighting esophageal cancer, I signed him up for online card communities. The joy those cards brought him was incredible; he genuinely looked forward to checking the mail and seeing where each card came from. Seeing how much it lifted his spirits made us realize how many others out there could use that exact same spark of joy. We created this space to spread that love forward. Whether you could use some encouragement yourself, or you know someone else who needs a lift, we want to help. We are also always looking for new volunteers to write cards--because truly, it takes a village.
